My husband and I went on a short hike up in Park City (home of the Sundance Film Festival) after a wonderful weekend of watching General Conference. Park City is one of my favorite places in Utah to enjoy nature’s beauty. The ski town is surrounded by breathtaking mountains and is completely picturesque, especially in the fall when the colors of the leaves start to change. I am constantly inspired by mother nature’s stunning, colorful beauty. My current makeup look is inspired by the soft orange and maroon hues of  nature during fall!

You can never go wrong with a beauty look when you’re wearing Yves Saint Laurent makeup. As a Sugared Lemon, I appreciate a good deal when it comes to shopping. However, I believe that sometimes it is worth it to spend a little extra cash in exchange for a quality, luxurious beauty product. Yves Saint Laurent beauty is fanciful and classic and I knew I wanted to use their makeup for this Autumn inspired photoshoot. Usually, a typical gorgeous Autumn look for me includes a deep lip color, flirty lashes, and shimmery cheeks but I decided I wanted to try something new.

For this fall time look, I wanted my eyes to be the main focus instead of my lips and chose to do that by using Yves Saint Laurent’s Ombré 5 Lumieres Eyeshadow pallet in Indian Pink. The soft, shimmery shades of burgundy and pink in the pallet are a nice accent to my soft hued orange blouse from The Limited. As for the finishing touch on my eyes, I gently brushed on Yves Saint Laurent’s Mascara Volume Effect Faux Cils in 5 Burgundy. I have always opted for a jet black mascara but thought it was a lovely shade and decided to try it. The deep burgundy color was impeccable with the eyeshadow colors! Plus, the burgundy on my eyelashes made my hazel/green eyes really noticeable. As I mentioned previously, I wanted my eyes to stand out the most so I opted for a light, somewhat neutral lip color and gloss. Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick in Pink in Paris and their Golden Gloss Shimmering Lip Gloss in Golden Satin paired nicely together, and is a lovely accent to my intense eyes.

I learned how to do this hairstyle from a hair tutorial on missysue.com and pinned it onto my Hair/Makeup Love board on my Pinterest!
