The Christmas season is not complete without an evening watching the exquisite and delicate dancers of Ballet West perform in The Nutcracker. I grew up doing ballet and it will always and forever have a special place in my heart. I adore the whole show but the snow scene is always my favorite part. The Ballet West Orchestra played Tchaikovsky’s music wonderfully and the performance was as glittery and magical as I had hoped for. The pas de deux was absolutely breathtaking and deserved a roaring round of applause! To show appreciation for all of the hard work of everyone involved in the production, my parents taught me that dressing nice is a form of good manners and an appropriate way to show our appreciation. Thank you mom and dad for instilling this in my mind. You don’t have to ask me twice about getting dressed fancy for a night out on the town with my husband!
