Let’s be honest and ask ourselves, “Is there anything better than a homemade cake with strawberries?” Why yes there is and it goes by the name of Strawberry Charlotte. It is an elegant french dessert made up of buttery cake, layers of fresh strawberry mousse and topped with whole strawberries. It is surrounded by ladyfingers and tied together with a ribbon. This divine cake looks like it belongs in a quiet and chic pastry shop along the River Seine in Paris. Oh, how I long to live there one day! I need to come up with a plan to convince Shawn of this idea…
