When I go out for a fun day of shopping, I love a good deal. Being a well dressed lady absolutely does not mean that you have to spend a lot of money. I love getting inspiration from my favorite movies and magazines and then heading over to Nordstrom Rack to see if I can find similar items for an outfit. I bought my Fendi sunnies and Christian Dior wedges from Nordstrom Rack ( for a ridiculously good price ), my pink bow skirt from H&M, my Peter Pan collared lace blouse from The Limited, and my white cardigan from J.Crew Factory. In my opinion, wearing high end couture (as much as I love a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo heels ) doesn’t automatically make you elegant. As Coco Chanel once said, “Elegance is when the inside is as beautiful as the outside.” The people I value and look up to the most in my life ( my mother, sister and a few others ) inspire me to be a more thoughtful, selfless and happier person which is what truly makes an elegant lady. I’ll be honest, I have a long way to go on those three attributes but all I can do is keep trying!
Lucy’s sweet bow was even a good deal! It is a silk pony tail scarf from the Coach Factory. I have a whole drawer full of Coach pony tail scarves for my dog, I guess you could say she is a little spoiled… 🙂
