Happy sunshiny day my Sugared Lemon friends! We visited my parents for Mother’s Day and their yard was in full bloom. The lilacs were absolutely divine, in color and smell! I can’t stand the smell of cheap, floral scented candles, but I’ll take the scent of fresh flowers any day. Both of my parents have green thumbs that I sadly didn’t inherit. However, I’m slowly learning in our new yard and taking cues from one of my favorite flower books, From Marie Antoinette’s Garden: An Eighteenth Century Horticulture Album.
