I’ve been under the weather but I’m finally able to post these photos that my sweet mother took of me about two weeks ago. She has quite an eye for photography! For those of you that don’t know, my mother is a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and as I continue to grow up I find myself more and more thankful for her decision to join. The other day I found myself pondering how different my life might have turned out if I was not raised in the gospel of Christ. My mother has never been boisterous or pushy when it comes to sharing her testimony of the gospel but I’ve noticed rather that she shares her beliefs through example. Without knowing it, the biggest thing she taught me through example is to always be looking for ways to help lift peoples spirits and not expect anything in return. In our General Women’s Session sister Cheryl A. Esplin taught us that when we receive greater light and truth, “it is our responsibility to live it, to share it and defend it”. I challenge all of you to seek out a good deed that you can do for someone tomorrow!!
