Sunset-in-KauaiKauai, also known as the Garden Isle, is the quietest and most untouched Hawaiian island I have been to. The landscape is lush, tropical and breath taking.  Kauai is definitely the most laid back and quiet island and to be quite honest, there is not a lot to do besides the fantastic hiking. Most of the restaurants with the exception of the St. Regis close at 8pm and there are not a lot to choose from. With that being said, if you’re big into hiking or you’re a married couple in your 80’s then Kauai is for you.

***If you are wanting something to take home, I recommend stoping by Kauai Nut Roasters. I bought a few bags of Coconut Pineapple Li Hing Macadamias and they are ever so tasty. The staff that works at Kauai Nut Roasters is super sweet and genuine. Visit any of their three locations on Kauai.
