Hello and Cead Mile Failte my friends! St. Patrick’s Day is next week and I’ve had quite the luck, I just found the pot o’ gold at the end of my rainbow! Sugarfina has fulfilled my sweet dreams once again with this trio of tempting candy. “Pot O’ Gold” Sugarfina Pearls, “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” Sugar Lips, and “Lucky Pints O’ Beer (non-alcoholic), make for an amusing way to honor the day.  Here in Utah, St. Patty’s Day isn’t celebrated much… unless your grandmother’s family came from Ireland like mine did. I get asked almost weekly where my ancestors came from and no one ever guesses correctly, but now the secret’s out! I’m mainly Irish, Scottish and English. My family descends from the protestants in Northern Ireland and we show our Irish pride by wearing orange, instead of only green. We have many Irish traditions but the one most dear to my heart is singing Irish songs. My grandmother sang Irish songs to us before bedtime when we were little and I can still remember them. Molly Malone is my most cherished and I will sing it to my children one day. Miss you Grandma Teel, I’ll wear my orange proudly on Thursday for you!
