Hyde Park (one of the Royal Parks) and the surrounding area is one of my favorite places to visit in London! Shawn and I spent the afternoon shopping at Liberty London, Harrods, and I must not forget, Harvey Nichols, fifth floor! I picked up some Charbonnel et Walker truffles from Harrods (available in the U.S. here) and a blue and gold headband from Liberty London. I know I will treasure both forever! Also, at Harrods, you can dine on a macaron or have a lovely meal from Laduree!

After we were done shopping, we made our way to the Rose Garden at Hyde Park for a relaxing end to our day. It was there I realized that I wanted one day to have a little girl that I could bring back to London. I could imagine holding her little hand as we strolled through Hyde Park. We could make a stop at one of the stands for an ice cream cone and then row a boat on the Serpentine. I wanted a little girl who would love the flowers at the Rose Garden as much as I did. Who knew a garden could inspire me so? Now, here we are a year later, and Shawn and I have our darling Everly Verina Belle! I can’t wait to take her to London one day! Shawn will be happy that I have a new little shopping partner to go to Liberty London and Harrods with!

By that time, we were starving for dinner and happened to come across two places that we couldn’t decide between. The first was The Grenadier, where I ate a the best Beef Wellington that I’ve ever had. The next night we ate at the second place, Coach and Horses, in Mayfair. Both are an absolute must in London and have really interesting history!
