Last Saturday, Shawn and I took a day trip to Park City to see the snow before we went on our date later that night to see The Nutcracker. For me, it’s just not Christmas without watching Ballet West perform The Nutcracker. Plus, it gives me an excuse to get dressed up! I knew exactly which heels I wanted to wear and had been waiting until I had somewhere fancy to go to debut them. I strongly believe in dressing up for performances, such as going to the ballet. My mom and grandma Teel taught me that we should dress up to show our appreciation for the performers. Jeans, no matter what you wear with them, are not appropriate to wear to the theater. Anyways, the ballet was performed seamlessly and my favorite part, the snow scene, was truly wondrous! The elegant and exquisite Beckanne Sisk was the Snow Queen and was quite honestly the highlight of the show in my opinion. Such grace and talent! I can’t wait until we get see Ballet west perform Swan Lake this coming Spring!

Happy Holidays ladies and gents
