I love this time of year! The fresh baked holiday sweets, The Nutcracker ballet, The Vienna Boys Choir singing christmas songs in the background of our home and my favorite thing of all, the frosted, snowy trees. Some hate when it snows but I’m a true kid at heart and love playing in the glistening, white, fluffy flakes . However, for some reason it is 60 degrees here in the state with the “greatest snow on earth” and the last time there was sparkly snow on the ground was a few weeks ago! I’m very distraught over this. I have a dear friend at work who bought a snowboarding pass about a month ago and obviously hasn’t been able to use it yet. I told him he could start a new trend called grass boarding but he wasn’t into it, haha! Anyways, our little family was going to take some snowy pictures for our Christmas cards and instead we had my mother take these photos instead and I think they turned out darling. I added in some photoshopped snow in the first photo so I could at least imagine what it would look like with snow! I’m so grateful for family and being able to spend time with them! I hope you all get to do the same this cheery season.
