A holiday that is all about decadent chocolates and fresh roses? Yes please! This Valentine’s Day, treat your loved one to chocolate and roses, Sugared Lemon style! Instead of shower your beloved with traditional, simple treats, step it up a notch and treat your queen with these luxe and enchanting sweets. I added Belvoir Fruit Farms Elderflower and Rose sparkling Lemonade to go with a bouquet of fresh roses (please no fake flowers 😐 ) . In addition, I made decadent cream puffs with rose water in the pastry cream and topped each of them with a La Maison du Chocolat truffle. I am simply not joking when I say that they are one of the best chocolatiers in the world! Trust me, if your sweetheart loves chocolate as much as I do, then you will score major brownie points with these truffles. Je suis en amour avec le chocolat and I don’t care who knows it!

Random/funny tidbit- Before Shawn and I were married (about eight years ago) I worked at an upscale restaurantt. One night I went to his apartment after a long shift and gave my Shawn a big hug.
