Sugar Plum Holiday Dress

I grew up dancing in The Nutcracker ballet every year so obviously the first thing that came to mind when I saw this plum and fuchsia colored holiday dress was the sugar PLUM fairy! Certain occasions, such as going to the theater, call for holiday glitz. Kate Spade New York’s Glitzeville earrings add sparkle for extra glam. It’s a simple rule I follow during the holiday season: add sparkle whenever necessary…Which is always! My little Everly watched me put them on and said, “Wow momma!” and couldn’t resist brushing her fingers through them while they twinkled in the light (you HAVE to watch the video below of her doing this). I hope she grows up to be a mini me!

Plum is such an underrated color for the holidays. Personally, I think it might be one of my favs. It’s unexpected and it’s such a rich color for holiday festivities. Add lace to the look, and you’re set. Seriously such a gorgeous dress for the season.
